Kansas City, MO. – Dixie Henderson, President, Shabobba® International, LLC announces that the Office of the President, Czech Republic has acquired a fine art pigment print by artist Donald Greenhaus for Vaclav Klaus, President, Czech Republic. At the request of the Office of the President, Sharon Valasek, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic, Kansas City, Missouri selected an original print titled “Dream Catcher” from a myriad of Greenhaus’ work. The print is included in the President’s personal collection. It is preserved at Prague Castle. In a letter to Ms. Henderson, President Klaus said, “No matter whether Presidents need dream catchers or not, they certainly do need nice memories and something to dream about. . . . this print is a nice memory . . .”
In celebration of the acquisition, Shabobba® hosted a “Presidents’ Special Evening,” November 16, 2006 at its gallery, 425 Washington, Suite 109, Kansas City, Missouri 64105 for distinguished guests who represented company presidents, business leaders and collectors in the metropolitan area. Mr. Greenhaus, Ms. Valasek, and Ms. Henderson were present for the ceremony.
September 9 – 16, 2006, Dixie Henderson, participated in the “2006 Partnership Trade Mission to Central Europe” that was part of the Greater Kansas City Chamber’s Global Leadership Opportunities for Business Executives (GLOBE) XIV program. Ms. Henderson, a GLOBE XIV graduate, petitioned the Office of the President, Czech Republic during the mission that included an express invitation to Prague Castle.
Dixie Henderson, screenwriter and entrepreneur, and Donald Greenhaus, internationally recognized innovator and avant-garde artist, came together to form a unique mix – Shabobba® International, LLC. Shabobba® exclusively represents Donald Greenhaus, both nationally and internationally, selling prints and fine art photography to private, corporate and museum clients. As a service, Shabobba® also delivers lectures in tandem with the artwork, in an effort to promote education, international understanding, intercultural fluency and economic development.

National and State Levels:
“The National Conversation on Youth Development in the 21st Century,”Washington, D.C. 2002, was 4-H’s gift to the nation. To commemorate its centennial, 4-H chose to invest in young people, and dedicate resources to research and a strategic-planning process. Across America, Local, County, and State Conversations laid the groundwork for the National Conversation. Over 67,000 hours of volunteer and staff time were devoted to the Conversations. The Missouri 4-H Headquarters selected Dixie Henderson to participate as a State and National Delegate. Delegates represented students, education, business, both private and public sectors.
Local Levels:
Shabobba® International, LLC continues its support of 4-H youth development by delivering workshops, providing guided tours, and serving as judges at competitions. Significantly, Shabobba® participated in the “2006 4-H Global Career Conference,” March 2007. On behalf of Donald Greenhaus, Eli Reed, Magnum Photos, and Clinical Professor, Photojournalism Department, University of Texas-Austin, delivered a workshop about his international profession.

Notably, Shabobba® International, LLC supported underwriting efforts to sponsor “In Performance at the White House: Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz,” Wednesday, April 4, 2007.
The performance was a celebration in honor of the Thelonious Monk Institute, and the jazz music genre. Among others, performances were provided by Herbie Hancock, Anita Baker, Wayne Shorter, Clark Terry, and Bobby Watson.
Donald Greenhaus’ work was greatly inspired by Thelonious Monk, as well as John Coltrane. Shabobba® supports educational initiatives for youth.
