Dixie Henderson, President, opened Shabobba® International’s doors in the Historic River Market of Kansas City, Missouri in February 2006. Shabobba® International was founded in 2004 and exports prints and fine art photography to private, corporate, and museum collectors. At that time, it joined in partnership with Donald Greenhaus and GFP, New York City-based enterprises. Collectively Greenhaus and GFP have conducted global art business for more than 40 years.
In 1993, Greenhaus was one of 25 world class photographers from the United States, France, England, Spain, Italy, and Russia to be invited by Fundacion Cultural Banesto of Spain to photograph its major cities. Each photographer was chosen for their special vision. The project was in an effort to maintain tourism interest that had been stimulated by the then-recent Olympics. Greenhaus’s work is included in Fundacion Cultural Banesto’s permanent collection, as well as a myriad of other private, public, and museum collections. Notably, his work is a part of collections in the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid, Spain.

“THE QUIET HANDGRIP,” is a bronze sculpture created by the lost wax casting process. It comes from a handgrip of Donald Greenhaus, notable New York City and international artist, photographer and photojournalist; and, Dixie Kissam Henderson, Founder and President, Shabobba ® International, LLC after Greenhaus and Henderson signed a legal business partnership.
This bronze sculpture is one of a kind. It is solely the relief of Greenhaus’ hand in his lifetime. The artwork will be offered as a Limited Edition, only. Upon availability, we will announce its provenance on this website. Meanwhile, should you be interested, please utilize our contact page.
